We're so excited to bring the new Teach Shakespeare to teachers across the world and support you to make learning about Shakespeare unforgettable.
We've designed Teach Shakespeare with the help of teachers so that it's easy to use in the classroom. We want to provide you with the resources you need, in the formats you need them in an easily searchable way.
If we've done our job well, you shouldn't need instructions to use the site but, to so you can get started, the information on this page should help you to make the most of the site
UK State Schools
Teachers from UK State Schools enjoy free access to all Teach Shakespeare resources.
When you register, find your school using our easy search and we'll validate your email address against the web domain we have on record. If your email address is different to your school's web address, please contact us to get your first teacher set up.
Other schools
Independent and International schools can unlock unlimted access for all your department with a school subscription.
Our subscriptions are designed to suit different sized departments, with options for up to 6 teacher users or up to 10 teacher users.
Purchase your subscription and then easily invite your colleagues to join. You can also change who has access during the subscription if a member of the team leaves.
Subscribe before January 2026 to get your first year at £250 (for 6 teachers) or £400 (10 teachers)
Individual Subscriptions
Whether you're home-schooling, tutoring or just need access for one teacher, you can also enjoy the benefits of Teach Shakespeare.

You can also filter to see just lessons or activities, so you know you'll get the type of resource you need!
Use our filters to refine your results further. You can find activities that focus on specific characters, analyse specific scenes or explore key themes.

Save lessons and activities to your own private library to help you easily find them again and again.
Just press the Save icon on the resource and it'll be waiting for you on the My Resources page
Share lessons with your colleagues to aid collaborative planning - just make sure they're registered as well!
Plus, create a Student link for any activity to provide your class with access to the videos and details within that resource. You'll be able to share additional information with your students via by adding Teacher Notes.
